One of SAK's cornerstone projects is the development and maintenance of a standardized Kaaps Dictionary. This ongoing project documents the vocabulary, grammatical rules, and usage of Kaaps, serving as an essential resource for linguists, educators, and the Kaaps-speaking community. The dictionary reflects the diversity of Kaaps across generations and regions.

How do we write in Kaaps? What grammatical rules do you need to know in order to write in Kaaps? For the first time in its history, a basics Kaaps grammatical rules guide has been produced in an accessible, fun and teachable way.
In this landmark grammar guide and for the first time, Kaaps grammar can be used to teach and put into practice by first, second and foreign language learners of the language. Filled with illustrative exercises, this book presents the system and rules for ordering words in Kaaps.
This basic grammar guide provides also a well-researched introduction to the history of the Kaaps language, its use and representation in multilingual South Africa and beyond. A terminology wordlist in Kaaps is also to be found at the end of the book.
